Create powerful stories for the screen in 60 seconds! This modern drama and screen-acting day brings together storytelling, acting and digital performance, inspired by TikTok, YouTube Shorts and short-form online content that young people love. Children will learn how to tell clear, exciting stories in a short amount of time, focusing on character, emotion and impact. Along the way, they’ll explore important acting-for-screen skills perfect for on camera. Working together, students will devise and rehearse short dramatic stories with a clear beginning, middle and end, learning how pacing and performance choices change when acting for the camera rather than the stage. Children will need: - a packed lunch - a water bottle - comfortable clothing for moving around The day runs from 9am until 4pm at Bristol Grammar School and we ask that you please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.
